V-2 Vertical Velocity
Six Flags Great America
Located at Gurnee, mid-way between Chicago and Milwaukee, Six Flags Great America features more than 100 rides and attractions and an abundance of entertainment to suit all the family.

The park has 11 world-class roller coasters including Giant Drop, Raging Bull, and the latest megacoaster, V-2 Vertical Velocity. Vertical Velocity propels riders up to a staggering speed of 70 miles (113 kilometers) per hour in less than four seconds, before spiraling down a terrifying 185-foot (56-meter) drop.

Deja Vu is the world's tallest and fastest boomerang roller coaster where riders soar backwards and forwards along a twisting, looping inverted track with the help of state-of-the-art thrill ride technology.

Entertainment is everywhere at Six Flags. There are nightly parades, film shows, Music Hall, a five-piece marching band in traditional band uniforms, a mariachi band, an a cappella group and the Looney Tunes Roadshow, with all-time favorites including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester and Foghorn Leghorn.
