  Lincoln Park Zoo, Chicago

Jaguar, Lincoln Park Zoo
Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago is one of the best free zoos in the country. The zoo features fifteen main habitat exhibits with a number of rare and endangered species on view and under the protection of the zoo.

Four colored trails on the park map form tours around the zoo in a logical order. Take the Blue Trail to see penguins, bears, wolves and birds of prey. Wander the Gold Trail to learn about primates, lions, small mammals and sea lions. Walk the Green Trail to visit antelope, zebras and the Great Apes exhibit.

The Zoo is particilarly well known for the historic Kovler Lion House with rare and beautiful big cats. Visitors can view Siberian Tigers, Himilayan Snow Leopards and Jaguars from South America.

View an events calendar, map and learn about the animals at the Lincoln Park Zoo web site.
