  Arlington Park (Arlington International Racecourse)

Arlington Park
Surrounded by lush gardens and featuring a magnificent dazzling white six-story grandstand, Arlington Park is one of the world's finest courses for thoroughbred horse racing.

Opened in 1927 as Arlington Park, the racetrack has a history of innovation and improvement reaching back to its earliest days. In 1985 the original grandstand was devastated by fire and it was four years before the park was able to fully reopen as Arlington International Racecourse, a radically new concept in thoroughbred horse racing. In 2000 further new investment and partnership saw the re-adoption of its original name.

Arlington Park is a family oriented facility, whose staff is trained using the philosophies of the Disney Organization to provide the highest customer satisfaction. The park offers all the pageantry and excitement of the traditional racetrack, as well as an abundance of non-racing entertainment throughout each race day.
